What does this type of child marriage really affect? • Child marriage is when children get married at a young age • This type of child marriage really affect a tiny, delicate-featured girl named Arwa who lives in Yemen where child marriage was exposed in public

What was the incident I researched? • The incident I researched is that there is this ten year old girl named Nujood Ali who had gone to this courthouse to demand a divorce with her husband after they were married • The average age of marriage in Yemen’s rural areas is twelve to thirteen years old

4. What led up to this incident? • What led Nujood Ali to this incident is that she helped a spur in movement to end her child marriage with her husband

5. What were the results of this incident? How was this incident handled and/or what were the consequences of this incident? • The results of this incident is that child marriage in Yemen increased a crucial part of this cycle poverties in Yemen and other third world countries • This incident was handled and the consequences of this incident is that kids got pulled out of school and they are forced to have children before their bodies are ready so they don’t end up with serious health problems

What made the incident and/or personal narrative stand out to me? • This topic interests me because when I heard that child marriage had affect many kids around the world, I wanted to know more about how this affects their parents and families • The incident and personal narratives stand out to me because I was shocked when I read someone’s personal story of their child marriage
