Bringing together all the key statutory and voluntary sector organisations in a local authority area who are responsible for promoting, delivering, and funding sport and physical activity
Identify local needs and potential interventions.
Develop a shared vision and create an action plan that feeds into CSP
Secure resources from a broad range of partners to deliver identified interventions within action plan.

Build capacity to increase participation and widen access to opportunities with emphasis on people rather than places:
To be an action orientated hub not a talking shop.
To act as a delivery mechanism for various themes within the LSP .
