  4. Blagoveshchenskiy Reserve was founded on May 4, 1975. It is situated aroundLake Kulundinskoe. Its area is about 49 thousand hectares. Lake Kulundinskoe

  5. Its aim is to protect plants, birds and animals that are disappearing.

  6. The birds and animals are dying out because people hunt them. • The plants are disappearing because of air and water pollution.

  7. There are 37 kinds of birds there. Golden eagle, and crane are registed in the Red Book.

  8. Blagoveshchenskiy Reserve is the habitat of 42 kinds of animals.Elks,roes, squirrels,hedgehogs,badgers live here.

  9. The flora of the reserve is diverse.Birch, larch, aspen,red fir and silver fir,different kinds of shrub grow here. • Visitors can find a lot of flowers and berries in the reserve.
