  2. 2 Pet. 1:20-21 Know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of own’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

  4. Characteristics of Inspiration by the HS • Words themselves, not just ideas (Verbal/Plenary) • Exodus 4:10-15 • 1 Cor. 2:12-13 • Immune to bad intentions or influences • Numbers 22-24, esp. 24:13 • Accompanied by proof.
