The Project With EU contribution At the transnational level initiatives related to Corporate Social Responsibility in our industry are predominantly unilateral initiatives.It 'a fact that almost all companies have codes of conduct and ethical codes, conceived unilaterally.There are also, as we shall see, the transnational framework agreements, which were signed by the social partners, which are a very important tool, have the merit of representing a path laid for the development of relations between the counterparties.Unfortunately, for reasons that we will investigate in the course of these training days, despite having the character of bilateral, are not mandatory and did little applied. The project With EU contribution As trade unions we believe it is very important to improve the social dialogue on this issue especially in the current crisis, and to ensure that the ethical principles set out by the companies may result in an Agreement negotiations aimed at safeguarding the value of work and the business climate.So the primary goal of the project presented by FibaCisl and in 2012 and is funded by the European Union: translate the unilateral declarations of companies on CSR in agreements negotiatedto protect the rights of workers, preserving the value of work and at the same time safeguarding the company's competitiveness. Partners of the Project With EU contribution LBC-NVK, in Belgium is the largest union in the financial services industry, is part of the Confederation of Christian Trade Unions. Finans Forbundet in Denmark is the union of workers in the Danish financial sector. It has 54,000 members and 1,760 representatives in the workplace. The OSPPP is the only union in the banking and insurance sector in the Czech Republic FO-FEC Banques, French trade union, brings together eleven professional areas. The credit section covers employees working in banks, brokerage firms and financial companies. OZ PPAP is the union of the banking and insurance sector in Slovakia. UNI Global Union is an international federation of trade unions which combines the services sector. In particular, brings together the banking, insurance, media, entertainment, post and trade .. Project objectives(1/2) Besides the main objective, the project aims to: • disseminate the culture of CSR; • identify and promote awareness of existing good practices (agreements) through a study and a transnational training course, to provide operating procedures for negotiation. • improve the content of social dialogue to deal positively with the changes in the labor market in a context of crisis and restructuring of enterprises. Project objectives(2/2) • investigate further the Transnational Framework Agreements exist at European level in the field of CSR; • identify the guidelines for the sustainable development of business activities that take into account the economic, social and environmental; • propose negotiated agreements (both at European level and at the enterprise level) as the most concrete way to give effect to the principles of CSR. Work done Kickoff-Lyon 31-1/1-2-2013 • Meeting of the Steering Committee (Steering Committee) in which, after an array of knowledge on the subject matters of the project is laying the groundwork to develop the analysis.we have: a) collected the various practical experiences relating to their subject of CSR, the ethical codes, negotiated agreements, the IFA; • initiated research and defined the composition of the three working groups. Analysis and study in the 3 working groups • The first group has analyzed the Codes of ethics / conduct adopted unilaterally by the European banks verifying the application and the system of measurement used by the banks through a series of indicators. • The second group has researched and analyzed the IFA (International framework agreements) exist, the TFA (transnational framework agreements), and the Joint Declarations signed at the European level, in any sector of the market with a particular focus on those approved by the companies based in countries of the project partners and those relating to the financial sector. • The third working group examined the agreements concluded between the trade unions and their counterparts at different levels (national, corporate ..) on CSR. NEXT STEP November 14-15 BRATISLAVA FinalSteeringCommittee Meeting • The first day will be devoted to validate the results of the training course and the conference, make the synthesis and choose the forms of disclosure. • The second day will be dedicated to transforming Area Forum (Virtual Agora) in the website, with the overall results of the project.The web site will put all documents prepared in the course of the project, the good practices identified in the participating countries, the results of the Training Course of Palermo and the synthesis of the final conference.
