TCMM Activities • Main activities/programs as a TC? • currently conferences work fairly independently • working to promote more communication • Opportunities for TC/CS growth • Youth initiative • Student poster session • Increase CS member participation • Solicit presentations and keynotes • Promote CFP, Advance Program with 52,000 name email list • Concerns • Closing, carryover of surplus • Administrative fees

Vail Computer Elements Workshop • VCEW committee did not follow CS procedures • Communication breakdown • Their TC Computer Elements was disbanded and the workshop is no longer sponsored • The committee approached TCMM for sponsorship • This was discussed at some length and concluded that it was not possile to do this year due to the short time before the workshop took place June 24 • Two senior members of the Hot Chips steering Committee, Lily Jow and John Sell agreed to be finance and general chairs • Will work with the CS to re-organize this workshop since it is closely related to the topic of the TCMM
