Information about free speech and the internet • Free speech is protected by the first amendment • Unpopular speech is protected by the internet • Internet stands for interconnected network of computers • Free speech is not just the only thing that is protected by the first amendment; freedom of religion, freedom of press, freedom of assembly are the rights protected by the first amendment. • The internet has been around for many years, and has advanced a lot since it was first created, now you can find EVERYTHING on the internet, and I mean EVERYTHING.
This is how this law supports individual rights and the common good
