  2. OVERALL OBJECTIVE Assess the sustainability of complete Forestry-Wood chains by developing integrated methods and tools to be used in Sustainability Impact Assessment of the Forestry-Wood chains, and with the help of these tools improve their sustainability

  3. Scientific & technical approach Analysing and mapping the main processes of the current FWCs Assessing the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the FWCs by employing sustainability indicators Elaborating future scenarios, implying changes in the current FWCs Assessing quantitatively the impact on sustainability of potential changes in the FWCs, by analysing trade offs between sustainability indicators.
