Robotics Dues ($50) due by November 14th These help pay for T-shirts, demonstrations, robot supplies, etc. Make checks payable to Air Academy High School with robotics in the memo • Important Dates: • **November 16th - 17th – FIRST Lego League (FLL) Where:Air Academy High School Friday: 5pm at the Woodmen Valley Fire Department (get tables) 5pm-8pm Set up at AAHS Saturday: 6:30am-8am (early morning set up)   8am-12:30pm (day shift for lunch and concession) 12:30pm-5pm(day shift for lunch and concession)    5pm- 7pm (clean up) Parent Information Sheet • Important Date: • **January 5th – FRC Kickoff Where:Discovery Canyon Campus Saturday: 8am – 12pm (or later) – Get info about the game and parameters of the competition robot • Important Dates: • January 5th – February 19th– Build Season Where:Challenger Middle School Schedule will be determined by each department Usually meet every weekday and every Saturday • Important Dates: • **March 14th – 16th – Kansas City Regional Competition ($200) • **April 4th – 6th – Colorado Regional Competition ($100) Where:Kansas City, Missouri and Denver, Colorado There is an additional fee to attend regional competition. Your student has the opportunity to receive an activity letter for robotics. • Mandatory activities: • FLL Competition 11/17/12 • Must attend one shift – sign up sheet available next week • FRC Kickoff 1/5/13 • Must be present for entire kickoff event • Must earn 3 “Robotic Hours” • Through bracelet making • Attending events • Science Festival • Space Foundation • Attend 80% of required meetings • Attend one day of regional competition • Kansas City 3/14/13 to 3/16/13 OR • Denver 4/4/13 to 4/6/13 Lettering Requirements
