This study evaluates a method for detecting driver fatigue impairment by analyzing the driver's micro control during a driving simulator experiment. The experiment involved 10 shift workers (5 male, 5 female) driving for 2 hours on a rural road, under two conditions: after a night's work and after a normal sleep. The study compares the results of the analysis to subjective ratings of driver fatigue.
