2015 Western Regional Meeting Primerus Update Presented by: Chris Dawe, Associate General Counsel and Member Services Manager
Welcome to the Primerus South Central Regional Meeting • Special thanks to Primerus members Moses Palmer & Howell and Downs Stanford for graciously agreeing to co-host the meeting, and arrange lunch and the suite at the baseball game.

Implementation • This approach synthesizes the process into four elements:
Primerus Ambassadors • New Committee for 2015 • Comprised of Primerus Leaders • Mentor New Members • Encourage participation from inactive members • Host New Member or First Time Attendee gathering during the Global Conference • Formalizes Phase 3 of the Strategic Planning Process
Business Development Opportunities • Utilizing the “Primerus Strategic Business Development Process, the following activities will be implemented for our members in order to increase new business opportunities: • Member to member networking opportunities at • Regional Member Meetings • Seminars & Conferences • Practice Group Calls • Coming Soon – WebEx/Skype member to member calls • Primerus Website(s) • Updated Primerus.com • New Plaintiff Personal Injury Institute
Business Development Opportunities • Corporate Client Outreach • Client Sharing Initiative – Will Launch Soon! • Client Movie • Direct contact via client groups, LinkedIn, ACC, Tradeshows, etc. • Client Seminars & Conferences • 2015 – Primerus will have client networking events in the U.S., Brazil, Singapore, and The Netherlands • New Hire – Lisa Dingman-Nowicki • Member recommendations via Association of Corporate Counsel requests, LinkedIn requests, and through personal relationships developed through client outreach activities • Membership Directory • Publishing Opportunities • Cross Border Business Development Committee Initiatives • Increased brand awareness with legal and trade organizations • Improved communications – new weekly notices and member calls • Increased networking opportunities with clients
Client Sharing Initiative • New Initiative to connect more members with clients that need their assistance. • 3 Parts – Collect and Analyze Member Information: • Industries Served – Add to P.com and assist with targeted marketing • Sharing of Current Clients – Become the go to resource for your clients • Identifying Future Clients – Client Wish List • Member Contributions Key to the Success of this Initiative

Improved Tracking of Referrals & Business Development Opportunities • Major emphasis for Services team in 2015 • During quarterly calls, Primerus reports are discussed and firms are expected to update • New Hire - Referral Administrator • Now reporting on weekly aggregated referral activity in the Primerus FYI
2014 Referrals Tracked • 189 - Primerus member recommendations through Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) • 510 – member to member referrals • 83 – Request for Proposal (RFP’s) • 1157 – Primerus.com web leads We estimated that only 10% of referrals occurring amongst the membership are reported.
