Recent Initiatives in M&S • UK Strategic Defence & Security Review implementation • Targets for increasing the volume of Training carried out in Simulation, without compromising capability: • A 25% transfer to Simulation of current residual Live Training by 2015, and a further 25% of the current total by 2020. • Live Training is always preceded by Simulation based Training and all Live Training is fully instrumented. • Use of M&S in the analysis process • Use of M&S in the Acquisition process • Move away from bespoke M&S solutions
