  3. WHAT DOES YOUR STUDENT WANT TO DO AFTER LSHS? • See requirements for each opportunity in Career and Educational Planning Guide • 4 Year College/University • MU, KU, or other Missouri Schools • Community and Technical Colleges • Military • Apprenticeships

Price of Remediation • Studies reveal that 28% to 40% of undergrads enroll in at least one remedial course. • Rates go as high as 50% at community colleges. • Students are not testing at college-ready levels on national assessments. • Only 25% met all four ACT benchmarks. • Remediation is costly for students.
