  3. Aeronautical Information Co-ordination and Support function Objective Improve dissemination (in terms of content and timeliness) of aeronautical information through enhanced communication and co-ordination among all aeronautical information stakeholders.

Roles of involved parties • EUROCONTROL • Establish, maintain and close function • Pre-validate • Market, Communicate • NOT: Taking away States’ responsibilities • Data providers (Data authors & AIS ) • Provide ‘meta’ data (planned publication date, number, scope, ..) • Announce available information • Provide (links to) copies of late publications • Provide advanced information for pre-validation • Monitor relevant issues • Users (Commercial Db. & End-users) • Share information (identified problems, complementary information, ...)

  5. NB: "In Classical Greece, the Agora was the public square or marketplace of any ancient Greek city. It was originally the site of the popular assembly, but as time went by it was used increasingly for commercial purposes also. Large and open and easily accessible, it was regarded as the center of political, commercial, religious, and social life in the city.
