  1. Implementation Planning: Module 10 Iowa Core Curriculum Leadership Development Series Year Two

  2. Welcome Back!

Year Two: Objectives • To deepen understanding of Iowa Core Curriculum • To increase foundational knowledge of Alignment, Instruction, and Assessment in order to determine future direction of district • To obtain materials and information for replication back in district and to support initiative and district (10%-10% -80%) • To complete Self-Study for baseline data to create draft version of Implementation Plan

  5. 5 Pieces to Work On Now: • Implementation Plan in place for submission July 1, 2010 • 100% of staff informed (see “AEA 9 Roll-Out”) • Peel back the Essential Concepts and Skills – engage faculty in initial conversations • Specific tasks for future PD (Implementation Plan) • Explore the Characteristics of Effective Instruction

  7. Course Evaluation • Take time today to complete the “Course Evaluation” (sand colored paper) – including both years. Please be specific with feedback.
