  3. Festivals in japan • The carp is one of symbols of Children’s Day. At festivals girls wear kimonos. On Children’s Day, boys wear samurai costumes.

  4. Tradition • When you enter a house take your shoes off. • When you go to the toilets you put thongs on. • You sleep on rice beds.

  6. Japan’s food • Japan’s main food is sushi rice and noodles • Most food in Japan is grown under water
