  3. ESTRUTURAS NATURALES Las estructuras naturales son creadas por la naturaleza. El esqueleto de un ser vertebrado, las formaciones pétreas, el caparazón de un animal o la estructura de un árbol son algunos ejemplos de este tipo de estructura.

  4. ESTRUCTURAS ARTIFICIAL A lo largo de la historia se han utilizado distintos tipos de estructuras, desde los puentes romanos, hasta los actuales rascacielos o puentes colgantes.

  5. TIPOS DE ESFUERZO Los elementos de una estructura deben de aguantar, además de su propio peso, otras fuerzas y cargas exteriores que actúan sobre ellos. Esto ocasiona la aparición de diferentes tipos de esfuerzos en los elementos estructurales

  6. TIPOS DE MATERIALES son el resultado de algún proceso de fabricación. Ej.: Acero. ... Este tipo de materiales se llama tenaces, y al contrario, frágiles. ... Se emplean en la construcción de estructuras, clavos, tornillos, ...
