SUBJECT CODE : Science 5 SUBJECT TITLE : Biological and Health Science COURSE DESCRIPTION : The course aims to provide the general concepts and principles pertaining to Biological Science. It includes the basic biological organization of living things including their morphological structure, composition, characteristics, functions and classification. This also includes the discussion on evolution of life as well as their role in the maintenance of ecosystem.
SUBJECT CODE : Science 6 SUBJECT TITLE : Physical & Environmental Science COURSE DESCRIPTION : This course deals with forces of nature and motion, electricity and magnetism, work and machines, energy and thermodynamics, The Physics of The Very Large- The Universe, and describes the earth including the fundamental principles and laws of Geology. It is designed to provide information on the properties, composition, external and internal structures, and parts of the Earth. It is concerned with constituents, forms and changes in the lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere of the Earth. The course also focuses on the basic concepts and knowledge of ecology. This will also include the discussion of the involvement of human being in the conservation of his environment, since it will entail on the relationship of every organism to each other as well as to their environment. Much emphasis will be given on the different current environmental issues and problems and the possible solution to address them. Different laws and provisions regarding environmental conservation will also be discussed.
SUBJECT CODE : Math 5 SUBJECT TITLE : Algebra with Statistics COURSE DESCRIPTION : This course covers real number system, algebraic and rational expression, linear equations, exponents and radicals, quadratic equations inequalities and word problems. It presents basic statistical concepts and essentials in data analysis. Topics for discussion include collection, presentation and analysis of empirical data with emphasis on the applications of descriptive statistics to real-life situations. Descriptive numerical measures such as measures of central tendency, measures of position, and measures of variation will be discussed through problem solving. It also introduces the normal distribution, simple correlation and linear regression which are essential in understanding basic ideas of statistical inference.

This will give the students the idea of the various forms of exercise provided to develop health related fitness. A well -planned and purposeful activities that will encourage the student to create and formulate movements in different forms of physical exercise. Basic nutrition and stress management is also describe in this subject to see the relationship of a health and wellness that will promote a lifelong habits for mental and physical well being and practice good lifestyle. It is also designed to gain knowledge and understanding on the importance of rhythmic activities, the role it plays in the holistic development of the students through enhanced movements and develop social graces.

It focuses on the students as they become aware of how their bodies move as they learn to deal and develop physical fitness skills such as balance, coordination, strength, agility, speed and reaction time.
SUBJECT CODE : YDP SUBJECT TITLE : Youth Development Program COURSE DESCRIPTION : Is a learning program that incorporates both theoretical learning and practical experience, leading to the development of the youth in all aspect of human life; physical, mental, social, spiritual, cultural and political dimension integrating the concept of civic education, democracy and good citizenship values as enshrined in the Preamble of the 1987 Constitution provided in the NSTP Act of 2001. It aimed at giving relevant skills to Senior High School students’ experiential learning as part of the academic requirement.
COURSE TITLE: AUTOMOTTIVE TECHNOLOGY COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills of automotive service technician in accordance with industry standards. It covers specialized competencies such as; test and service automotive batteries, service ignition system, install and repair wiring/lighting system, repair wiper and washers, dismantle and assemble engine-sub assemblies, maintain under chassis components and perform shop maintenance. It also includes competencies in workplace communication, teamwork, safety, use of hand tools, and housekeeping.
COURSE TITLE: REF AND AIRCON TECHNOLOGY COURSE DESCRIPTION: This subject covers the history of refrigeration and air-conditioning with also the basic principle of refrigeration cycle. It also emphasizes copper tube processing, safety procedures in handling the tools and equipment used in servicing refrigeration and air-conditioning unit. It includes the use of basic measuring instruments, obtaining safe working habits, layout and performing bench work operations.
COURSE TITLE: CIVIL TECHNOLOGY COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course deals with architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical aspect of residential building construction. It also includes safety and legal law which pertains to electrical and building code.
COURSE TITLE: ADVANCED DRAFTING COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is an advanced study of architectural drafting, in addition to the drawing of the building components included in the basic architectural drawing OF second floor and third floor plan. It also covers framing plans, stair design, bill of watering and estimation, building specifications, structural plans and electrical and plumbing plans. The vehicle for instruction is a two-story or multi-story residential building.

It deals with good housekeeping and safety, preparation of electrical materials and tools, performing roughing-in activities, installing wiring devices, installing lighting fixtures, installing electrical protection systems and commissioning electrical system.
COURSE TITLE : SHEET METAL TECHNOLOGY COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills of metal craft workers in accordance with industry standards. It covers specialized competencies such as; bench working, drilling and grinding operations. It also includes competencies in workplace communication, teamwork, safety, use of hand tools, and house keeping.
COURSE TITLE :WELDING TECHNOLOGY COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills to perform flux cored arc welding work to the standard expected in the workplace. The course covers, competencies in receiving and responding to workplace communications, with others, performing workplace safety and housekeeping, interpret blueprint, set up work area equipment and accessories, prepare weld joints deposit weld beads, prepare materials and tools, and carbon steel plates in all.
COURSE TITLE: CONSUMER ELECTRONICS COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable skills and attitudes in consumer electronics in accordance with the standards. It covers service and repair of small and domestic appliances either electronically-controlled, remote-controlled, or rechargeable circuits or systems. It also include the use of hand tools; application; technical drawing; quality standards; computer operation; and wire/circuit termination and connection.

The subject specifically inclined with the study of events in helping the movement of our economic stability and banking laws and to help students realized their potentials in the building of our economic structure.
COURSE TITLE: FOOD PROCESSING AND PRESERVATION COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course discusses the basic concepts of food processing and its function, the nature of food, its composition and chemical reaction as applied to food preservation. It focuses on factors leading to the success of food preservation from pre-processing to post-processing operations. The course also deals with the different type of food preservation, its actual application and procedures, and other factors such as food additives and preservatives, as well as safety and proper food handling and packaging which are essential to food preservation.

COURSE TITLE: FOODSTYLING AND PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course is designed to prepare students for a career in professional food service emphasizing basic principles of food styling and photography, analysing and assessing the positive and negative attributes. Students learn to apply the principles to produce their own visually compelling images.
COURSE TITLE: SIGN LANGUAGE COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course concentrates on providing students with the skills in communicating with deaf people not only by learning fingerspells and sign language but importantly in reading the signs executed by the deaf to be efficient in this mode of communication.

COURSE TITLE: FREEHAND DRAWING COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course teaches the fundamentals drawing including materials, methods, form and composition. Students work on a variety of paper sizes and graphite, ink, and charcoal. Initial exercises will concentrate on still life and interiors, and will later move on to landscape drawing.
