  2. When people begin working with metals? They started working with metals in 8,000 BCE.

  3. History of Metals • Gold was discovered circa 3000 BC • Gold is one of the first metals known to man. • Gold is one of the least reactive metal known to man.

  4. Continue… • Potassium is one of the most reactive metals it was discovered in 1807 • Copper is one of the least reactive metals discovered in 9000 BC • Zinc is one of the mildly reacting metals discovered about 1000 BC

  5. How reactive the metals are Metals that are more reactive are harder to extract from their ores because they are in the form of sodium chloride.

  6. Then and now… Nowadays we have new technologies that have been developed to discover metals and other scientific topics. As for before, it was different and much more difficult.
