  3. Why is this even important? • There are injustices within the oceanic food system against • local small scale fisheries • the environment • us as consumers

  6. Why is this even important? • lack of transparency within seafood supply chain for consumers • 1/3 of seafood sold by restaurants and retailers mislabeled • 84% albacore tuna actually escolar, fish that causes oily anal leakage

  7. Save our seas • brought different experts of the oceanic eco and food system to discuss: • the current state of oceans • solutions • Provide information for campus community and Inspire students to take control of their food system
