  2. Do Now • Take out your vocabulary and Venn-Diagrams • Think about times in your life when you were influenced by other cultural groups. How did your experiences change how you view the world? Did what you learn lead to a lasting change?

  4. Egypt • Wide plains on both sides of the river

  5. Nubia • High cliffs rise straight up along the banks of the Nile

  6. Egypt • River is smooth as it flows downstream

  7. Nubia • In the south, large granite boulders block portions of the river, causing rapids or waterfalls
