CLASSROOM RULES A respectful attitude is required at all times. • Toward God • Toward the instructor • Toward peers Preparation is essential • Be quiet • Be ready with assignments to hand in • Be on time Responsibility in all things • Assignments • Test preparation • Treatment of school property such as texts and lab equipment

  10. Grading Each Quarter Tests 50% Lab Reports 20% Homework 15% Quizzes 15%

  11. Late Work Policy • Assignments are due at the first of class on the due date. • Late assignments will be accepted on a case by case basis at the instructor’s sole discretion for a maximum credit of 50%. • Special consideration will be given for special circumstances if prior approval is obtained from the instructor.

  12. MAKE-UP WORK Student missing class due to approved absences will be granted deadline extensions equivalent to the length of the absence. Otherwise, the late work policy will apply. Missed assignments are the returning students responsibility and the student is required to inquire about any missed assignments or other materials. Special arrangements are possible at the discretion of the instructor.

  14. NAME PLATE ACTIVITY Materials Needed: • Name plate card • Sharpie marker • Paper plate • Craft Stick • Shaving cream • Food coloring • Paper Towels

  15. NAME PLATE ACTIVITY Procedure • Write your name on your card • Put a dollop of shaving cream on your paper plate • Add food coloring of your choice & stir • Place name plate in shaving cream • Wipe off shaving cream with craft stick • Let it dry!
