Flood Strategy • Goal 5 - Mitigate the Potential Loss of Life and Property from Flooding • 5.1 - Reduce the number of current and future structures in the floodplain. • 5.2 - Mitigate flooding of structures and infrastructure. • 5.3 - Increase public awareness of flood mitigation. • 5.4 - Improve the effectiveness of flood insurance programs.
