Leadership opportunities – increase visibility of workplace safety within organizations • Culture change – WCB/LAE media “Coming Home Safe” • Small Business working group – consult and roll out one tool • Education working group - convene table, scan/share programming • Workplace engagement– target inspections and support based on experience and past performance 2013/14 Activities

Implementation resources – Barrington Group • Performance measurement - evaluation framework, logic models for leading indicators • LAE strategic and business plans – higher profile and greater emphasis onr safety • Establish a Nova Scotia Safety research agenda • Admin Penalty Review – balance inspection, education and enforcement 2013/14 Activities

  6. Develop/propose JOSH training regulations • Embed safety in programs to increase workplace preparation • Workplace engagement, targeting based on injury data in specific sectors - Outreach and assistance to high risk workplaces • Action Plans for high risk sectors • Fishing Safety Action Plan • Healthcare – Soteria Strategy • PSC workplace safety improvement 2013/14 Activities
