  1. Ms. Fletcher’s Weekly News March 24th Family Times I will be sending home on Mondays a sheet called family times. It goes along with our phonemic skills that week. It would be wonderful extra practice and would help the kiddos out when it comes time for their test on Friday (wink, wink). So if you have time to look it over and do some of the activities you might find it beneficial. What We are Learning? Reading I can identify the theme of a story. I can identify the structure of a story (beginning, middle, end). Phonics I can read and spell compound Words (basketball, ladybug). I can read and spell words with ue, ew, ui (glue, newt, fruit). Grammar: I can identify adjectives for how many including articles (one, two, a, the). Math: I can solve two step word problems. I can make a ten to solve addition problems with 9 as an addend. I can make a ten to solve addition problems with 8 as an addend. Reminders Book orders due on March 25th Heads up for Zoo field trip on May 5th.
