Dear teachers and parents • Every school in the California area will receive one of our study skills program packets during this school year. The “Royals Educational Resources Study Skills Program” this covers seven areas different subjects, each individually packaged. • We hope that both teacher and parents enjoy this teaching experience as much as the children enjoy it learning.
Beforethe Test Eat before you take a test. (Don’t go on a empty stomach.) Allow yourself plenty of time to get all of your “right before the test” things done. Get a good night’s sleep! Duringthe Test Read each and every question and direction carefully. Budget your time. Can’t think of the answer, go on and return to it later. Don’t Panic! Relax .. True or False Attention to qualifiers that restrict on open statements. Every part must be true. Most true & false test have more true than false answers. Multiple Choice &Short Answer Re-write question in your answer. Just simple short answers. Uncertain of correct answer? Cross out obvious wrong answers and pick the best one. Multiple Choice,Short answer True or False
Essay • Before Writing: • Read through questions. • look for Key Words. • Briefly outline your answers. • Answering: • Begin with Strong sentences. • Develop an argument. • End with a Summarization.
