Overview • Launched June 27th by Central Indiana Corporate Partnership • A state-wide initiative focused on Indiana’s advanced manufacturing, transportation, distribution and logistics industries • 3 Priorities: • Building a world-class workforce • Improving public perception and awareness of manufacturing/logistics • Creating new connections for industry growth

  3. Mission Conexus Indiana is leading the effort to position Indiana as a global leader in advanced manufacturing and logistics. We are building industry partnerships and exploring new market opportunities, preparing Hoosiers to take advantage of manufacturing and logistics careers, and promoting a better understanding of the importance of these sectors to our economic future.

Creating new connections for industry growth Conexus Indiana Focus • Build new partnerships among private industry, the public sector and research institutions • Partner with the State in an initiative to grow Indiana’s share of federal defense/aerospace contracts • Lead the Indiana Logistics Council • Create an Indiana supplier database • Connect larger manufacturers with in-state suppliers to streamline supply chains • Networking, Slingshot, Manufacturing & Logistics Week
