  1. The Calvary Way The “Why” behind the “Do”

  2. The standard The Standard is our core set of values at CCLV. It sets the attitude and actions for how we get things done. If the vision is the compass, The Standard is the map that gives us direction.

  3. The standard WE ARE UNITED UNDER ONE VISION: CCLV is built on the vision God has given our Pastor. We will defend our unity and that vision.

  4. The standard WE WILL WIN THE LOST AT ALL COST: We are a Church Without Walls. We have a God-given mission to reach this community. No amount of money, resources or effort is insignificant in our attempts to reach those in need of Jesus. Therefore, we unapologetically set goals and measure progress through all available means.

  5. The standard WE LOVE PEOPLE WHEN THEY LEAST EXPECT IT AND/OR LEAST DESERVE IT: We will love, forgive, show mercy and accept all people, because every person is invaluable and irreplaceable.

  6. The standard WE LEAD THE WAY IN GENEROSITY: Our staff and church will go above and beyond to give to the work of God in our community.

  7. The standard WE WILL INVEST OUR BEST IN THE NEXT GENERATION: They are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today. We will equip, train and commission the next generation.

  8. The standard WE ARE KNOWN FOR WHAT WE ARE FOR: We will speak hope and life over our people. We will lift up Jesus rather than using our platform to condemn or advance personal agenda.

  9. The standard WE ACT IN FAITH BECAUSE PLAYING IT SAFE IS RISKY: We will keep dreaming and doing. We will take giant steps of faith and watch God do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.

  10. The standard WE VALUE DIVERSITY: We embrace a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-generational church that reflects the heart of God.

  11. The standard WE ARE CONTRIBUTORS NOT CONSUMERS: We will volunteer our talents, passion, time and energy to accomplish the mission of our church.

  12. The standard WE UNDERSTAND THE MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE DESERVES THE MOST EXCELLENT PRESENTATION: High quality production and professionalism is a priority. We will exhaust all creativity and innovation in our efforts to tell the timeless story of the gospel.

  13. The standard WE REFUSE TO LIVE LIFE ALONE: We are a church of groups and we live life in community with those who are following Jesus.

  14. The standard WE WILL BE FAITHFUL IN THE SMALL THINGS: We are responsible for what God has entrusted to us, knowing that He will give us more. We will not take this for granted.

  15. Ministry 1-2-3 1) GOD IS MORE INTERESTED IN THE MINISTER THAN THE MINISTRY (JOHN 21:20-25) 2) WORSHIP IS VITAL (EPH. 5:18,19) 3) BE SUBMISSIVE AND LOYAL (TITUS 3)

  26. Gifts of the holy spirit 1 Corinthians 12:31 (NKJV) “But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.”

  27. 13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
