  4. Anticipated NEW Feature • Grade 11 Reporting • Reading, Mathematics, Science, Writing • Pilot methodology • High Schools(9-12) • Projections to Proficiency on Current 9th graders • New value-added reporting for Grade 11 • Unique professional development needs

  5. Anticipated NEW Feature • Science and Writing Reporting • In Grades Tested • Science • Writing • Value-Added Reporting • Pilot Methodology • Projections to Next Assessment

Anticipated NEW Feature • Differentiate Green – 2 or 3 sections of equal/greater? • Districts ask how do I know what is significant? • Clear indicator of those 2SEs+ above the growth standard – meaning highest confidence of growth • Mockup/Sample: May only have one green(0-2SEs), and blue for 2SEs+

USDOE Proposal Status • PA submitted proposal in Feb • PA responded to USDOE questions in March • PA proposal forward for peer review • Peer review April 24-25 • Peer review questions to states in April • States notified of decision in May • PA planning as if proposal will be approved • PDE, SAS, Inc. and DRC meeting

  14. Fall Professional Development • To be able to go and ask any Pennsylvania principal how they are using PVAAS in their school and they can tell me how they are using it
