  10. VINE, BONIQUET, QUE ET POSARÉ UNA INJECCIÓ. Llegiu les següents paraules: metge, Jesús, enveja, exageraven, imaginat, jutjat, justícia, ingenu, ajustat, jersei, desitjara. Totes aquestes paraules contenen el so /dʒ/ similar al de la j anglesa (James), la g italiana (gioco) o la ll en argentí (millones). En valencià, aquest so s’escriu amb les grafies j, g, tj, i tg. En altres dialectes,la j i la g representen un so diferent del de la tj i la tg ( en català oriental, enveja i exagerar no tenen el mateix so que desitjar i metge ).

  12. Recordeu que les consonants gij alternen en les paraules de la mateixa família segons la vocal que hi apareix darrere: pluja, pluges; viatjar, viatgem

  13. S’escriuen amb tg les paraules acabades amb el sufix –atge, -etge, -otge, -utge: paisatge, heretge, ferotge, sutge

  14. Com que fonèticament en valencià no hi ha diferències entre la tj ila j, poden sorgir dubtes a l’hora d’escriure els verbs acabats en -tjar i -jar ( viatjar però batejar). De vegades, podeu recórrer a una paraula de la mateixa família ( homenatjar-homenatge; pujar, pujada ). Hi ha moltíssims més verbs acabats en -jar que no en -tjar ( assajar, bandejar, batejar, colpejar, envejar…).
