Activities as of 01/04/2012 Recent Conference Performance Accomplishments • No new members • Leadership role over this year with Dick Shaw to become chair, Michael Butler vice chair and elect new secretary. • Published the year in review article SPW 2011 IECEC 2012 Attendance was 300 which is down from the previous year. Total Abstracts at 135 APS has 22 Issues / Help Needed • Getting more papers for IECEC • Starting a Li-Ion Battery Standard Initiatives & Plans Financial Status and Other Activities • Updating AIAA S111 and S112 • SMC is requesting a Li-Ion Standard • AIAA S122 2007 is due for review soon • $1300 • Just allocated funds to sponsor an IECEC booth ($1200)
