  5. Write your ideas as they come. Snowball fight Icicles hanging from the roof Snow angels My nose felt cold and numb. A snowman My house felt toasty. I was so cold I could hardly move. My hands were as cold as ice.

  6. Organize Your Ideas • Choose three broad ideas that relate to the prompt • Circle the three broad ideas and these will be called the topics. • Then you will form three complete simple sentences using the three ideas you circled. • These are called your topic sentences.
