Shelter • Inuit housing: • Igloos (common winter houses) • Skin Tents (common in summer) • Stone Houses (common in Greenland) • Driftwood and Earth houses (common in Siberia) Seal-Skin Tents
Movement • Types of transportation: • Sleds (frame, plank) • Boats (Kayaks, Umiaks) • Frame sleds used in Alaska and Siberia • Plank sleds used in Canada and Greenland • Kayaks used for hunting • Umiaks used for long trips • Sleds were powered by dogs
