Comprehensive multi-state solicitation led by Colorado on behalf of WSSCA/NASPO resulting in an award to SciQuest with Partners IBM and Binary Fountain. 38 eProcurement related firms responded to the RFI. 17 state participated in the RFP solicitation including New Mexico. 15 eProcuremnt providers responded to the RFP.
SPD Paperless Procurement • Phase 1 Sourcing Director What do we get? • On Demand Bid Management System. • Secure support for sealed bidding, informal quotes and reverse auctions. • From a standard Web browser, suppliers register and respond to bid opportunities providing increased accuracy and easy capture of complex award criteria. • Ahighly efficient process for creating, issuing and managing bid requests, reverse auctions, and supplier response submissions and bid awards. Also the ability to gather and report on information often requested by the legislature.
SPD Paperless Procurement Initiation Plan: • Request full funding. • Part of the SOW with the vendor is for them to provide planning document. • SPD will present plan at next PCC once contract is complete and plan is drafted with SPD and the vendor. • SPD will certify each step of the process.
SPD Paperless Procurement • SPD is requesting full funding of $106,360.00 for phase one. • The legislature granted funding for FY12 and FY13 SPD is asking to fast-track Phase one so we can meet the FY12 requirements. • The next PCC meeting SPD will present Project plan and Solution Specifications. • Sourcing Director is a COTS SAS solution.
