ISFOL is a State-owned research institution that  Carries out and promotes research, experimentation, evaluations, information, consultancy services and technical assistance for the development of vocational training and social and employmentpolicies.  Works mainly in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies  but also with central administrations, with the Regions, the European Union and international bodies.

  3. For its research and technical-scientific consultancy services, ISFOL is organized in two macro-areas, dealing with:  training systems  social and labour market policies These macro-areas are divided into units performing specific tasks.

  4. Under its institutional competences ISFOL:  supports the Italian Ministry of Labour in the implementation of the activities planned in the field of Joint Declaration on VET  has financed for the period 2009-2013 - jointly with the Ministry of Labour - the project Centre for EuroMediterranean cooperation

  5. PROPOSAL OF ACTIVITIES FOR 2011 Technical-scientific support with regards to VET:in the 2011, organization of a workshop devoted to the European Qualification Framework and its implementation at national level. Promotion of networking with Italian key actors (institutions, universities, research centres) on projects and initiatives involving the following topics: research & development, nanotechnologies, biotechnologies, renewable energy.

NANOTECHNOLOGIES ASP- Association for the Promotion of the Scientific and Technological Development of Piemonte ●Partners: Piemonte Region, Province of Turin, Municipality of Turin, Turin Chamber of Commerce, Turin University , Turin Polytechnic and Federpiemonte● Objective: to link the research world with enterprises, encouraging the technology transfer of research findings by centres of excellence in the nanotech field to SMEs working in areas of industrial decline. www.asp.torino.it

BIOTECHNOLOGIES INSUBRIAS BIOPARK – Lombardia Region Science and technology park and incubator of enterprises in the biotech sector and research of sources of new energy (project on photovoltaic). RENEWABLE ENERGY ENEA – Lazio Region ENEA is the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development.The Agency’s activities are targeted to research, innovation technology and advanced services in the fields of energy - especially nuclear.ENEA performs research activities and provides agency services to support public administrations, public and private enterprises, citizens.www.enea.it
