  1. Results, Discussion, and Abstract Results Statement of results: State the results concisely and ensure that they are plausible for the research described. Tables: Format a table (or tables) correctly to present part of the analysis accurately and concisely. Figures: Design figure(s) clearly to accurate describe a relevant aspect of the results. The heading for this section is centered with upper and lower case letters. You should indicate concisely what results you found in this research. Use notation such as: F(2, 10)=13.78, p=.001 n=50 This section should include: Results from the factor analysis the ANOVA the reliability(Cronbach’s alpha, pg. 100 in text)

  2. Discussion Implications of the study: Assuming the expected results are obtained , discuss the implications of these results. Briefly mention any remaining problems that you anticipate in the study. Link you findings back to the theoretical hypothesis that you discussed in your Introduction. Note: this does not have to be a consistent finding. Your can try to refute some of the research literature. You should describe the conclusions you reach(assuming you got the results described in the Results section). You should related these conclusions back to the level of the construct and the general problem area that you described in the Introduction. You should also discuss the overall stregth of the research proposed(for example a general discussion of the strong and weak validity areas) and should present some suggestions of possible future research that would be sensible based on the results of this work.

  3. Abstract Abstract: the abstract is 125 words or less and presents a concise picture of the proposed research. Include major constructs and hypotheses. The abstract is in the first section of the paper. The abstract is limited to one page, double spaced. At the top of the page, centered, you should have the word “Abstract.” The abstract itself should be written in paragraph form and should be a concise summary of the entire paper including the problem, major hypotheses, the name of the design or a short description (no design notion here), the major results, and the major conclusions.

  4. Mark Breakdown for this project Total will be out of 50 possible marks Introduction: 10 Method: 10 Results:10 Discussion:10 References:2.5 Abstract:2.5 APA style:2.5 Clarity/readability: 2.5 10 Possible Bonus Marks: You can receive bonus marks for including analysis of any other of the semantic dimension scales(aside from the one you already wrote up). Please keep in mind, you will have to add these subsequent analyses to your methods section, results section and discussion section. These marks do not come easy! You will only get the 10 if you include all 4 scales.
