  2. Single camera production: Single camera production. A single camera production is simply a piece of media either a music video or film shot with a single camera. These are usually low budget films and usually involves a lot of editing during scenes with multiple characters having conversations and such. Anon, (2019). . Single camera production involves one camera. Each of the different shots and different camera angles are taken with the same camera, which is often set up and pre-planned of which shots are required. For single camera production, there is often both positive and negative aspects of the technique. One of the  benefits is that it is cheaper to fund. This is because one is cheaper than two. A con is that you can't get more than one shot at the same time in different angles.

Multi-camera productions use more than one camera to capture each shot and scene from different angles. This means the directors and producers have more freedom and choice in the shots used, which comes in very handy for creating a linear story line. A benefit of a multi-camera is that you can gain the same shot, but in different angles. A con would be the expenses of more than one camera.

  4. Genres: Series- A series is more than one episode is made and more follow and continue from one to another. Serial- A prolonged TV production, such as soaps like EastEnders or Hollyoaks. Single drama- A one off production that has been filmed. E.g. Jane Eyre. Genre and sub genre: Genre- a style of art, music or literature. sub genre- A division of the main genres.

  5. Drama documentary- A drama documentary is a television film based on real life events. Five Obstructions is an example of a drama documentary. This is because it’s an investigative journey that continues, and is based on real life events. Crime- The Purge is an example of a crime film as the characters used in the film take part in criminal acts. In the crime genre, the criminal is often the main character, which records his rise and falls. Crime films often have a storyline where the audience tends to portray the characters and often misleads them to thinking someone is aligned with the criminal and makes them have doubts.

  6. Soap opera- Soap opera is radio or television based on a serial dealing, often dramatic and has many domestic scenes. General hospital is an example of a soap opera as it has many domestic distributes and is an ongoing program. Comedy- Comedy is often a genre that is usually humorous and encourages laughter. The Big Bang Theory is a show that first aired in 2007, and targets audiences with humour.

  7. Drama and the target audience- 13 Reasons Why- (series) 13 reasons why is a TV series that aired on Netflix, which is based on a school girl who descends in to depression because of bullying. She details and records 13 reasons why she was driven to her suicide, through a diary. 2 weeks after her death, it was sent to one of her friends. There are 7 tapes, with 13 stories. 13 Reasons Why is a TV series drama, which continues from one episode to another. This series is an emphasis on suicide but also has awareness of self-harm, which is shown throughout the series. There is a lot about mental health issues, and how it can lead to drug misuse. There is also strong scenes of sexual assault. The plotline is based around teenagers who have been sexualised, especially females by other teenagers. There is also the scenes of bullying and under-age drinking, which raises awareness of the modern world, mental health issues and the consequences of bullying. 13 Reasons Why is a psychological thriller, because it is impacting and disturbing the minds of the audience, it is also a under the mystery genre. 13 Reasons Why has a lot of flack back structure, when the characters have to learn why they take part in the suicide, it flashes back to what they did.   8. Hollyoaks- (Serial) Hollyoaks is a serial, that is an ongoing soap opera TV drama. It first aired in 1995, and has been ongoing since. Hollyoaks is targeted to the ‘younger generation’ This serial is an ongoing TV series that continues the new episodes from the last. Hollyoaks is a linear structure, however, there are sometimes flashbacks that are within with the serial. There is often dramatic scenes in Hollyoaks, and also a lot of domestic and explicit scenes.   9. Single Drama The single drama After, a film that was aired on Netflix is a romance film. The film has a non-linear structure, and does not have any flashbacks. After is a film that starts of with a girl who starts off as a dedicated student, and throughout the film, she is influenced to drinking and her peers doing drugs and causing peer pressure. There are different major events that take place.
