Conversion Mapping • What data is being mapped? • Funds to Funds and/or Projects • Mapping defined by campuses • Departments to Departments • Mapping defined by campuses • TCC’s to Accounts • Mapping defined by CND project • Projects to Projects and/or Programs • Mapping defined by campuses
Conversion Issues • Departments not mapped • Outdated departments on legacy • “Invalid” departments on legacy • Incorrect mapping • Funds mapped into inappropriate ranges
Conversion Clean-up • Have requested campuses to complete any necessary clean-up by April 8 • Next conversions will be completed during week of April 12 to prepare for second iteration of testing • Data not converted will result in poor testing • Could result in bad balances in PeopleSoft
Interfaces • Interface is a means of moving data into or out of systems
Delivered Interfaces • Move data between PeopleSoft applications • Payroll interface to General Ledger • Provide standard means of moving data into or out of PeopleSoft • Spreadsheet journal load • Procurement card load

What are we implementing? • We are implementing all of the modules in the PeopleSoft grants and contracts “suite”
Current Status • Grants team finalizing preliminary prototype • Major grants processes end-to-end • Proposal development • Award • Transactions • Actual expenses • “Calculated” expenses such as F&A • Reporting • Billing • Testing over next few weeks
