  8. Presentation • Choose a topic to prepare. • Plan what you are going to say. Write it down. • Practice at home. Record yourself using Vocaroo or another tool (cell phone, voicemail) so you can hear yourself. Listen for stress, rhythm, and vowels. • Record yourself in the most recent Audio Dropbox (Week 10, Week 11, etc.) • After Kristi gives you feedback, repeat steps 3 and 4 from above. • Plan a time to present in front of the class before the end of the semester.

  9. Record Yourself • Move to a computer away from other people. • Log into the computer. • Go to http://kweis.wikispaces.com • Go to Week 10. • Record your presentation. If you don’t have your presentation ready, record yourself telling me what you think you will do for your presentation. • Remember to make sure it recorded and then click the green check mark to send it to me. • If you have extra time you may record a dialog or other practice words from today’s lesson and send it to me for feedback.

  10. Homework • Prepare your presentation on a topic of your choice. • Ideas include: • An interest you have • Your home country • Something related to your work • Your plans for the future • A description of a trip you went on • Something about your family • Plan what you will say so you are ready to practice speaking (and recording) next Saturday (Nov 16)!
