  2. A is for Alkaline Foods In naturopathic nutrition, there is a focus on maintaining a balanced pH within the body. Alkaline-rich foods play a crucial role in achieving this balance. These foods, including fruits, vegetables, and certain grains, contribute to a more alkaline environment, which is believed to support overall health. B is for Whole Food Basics Whole, unprocessed foods are highly recommended in naturopathic nutrition. These high-nutrient foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins, contain vitamins and minerals. People can maximize their nutrition intake using whole foods to have a healthy and vibrant life.

  3. C is for Conscious Eating The foundation of naturopathic nutrition is mindful eating. Developing awareness during a meal could help people improve eating as an experience. This includes eating slowly, enjoying every morsel in your mouth and listening to hunger-satiety signals. Conscious eating leads to better digestion, too. D is for Dietary Diversity Plate diversity is one of the principles of naturopathic nutrition. Due to a rainbow of fruits, veggies and other plant-based foods, the variety of nutrients is diverse. Besides improving the aesthetic value of meals, combining different colours and textures in the diet ensures many health benefits from the numerous nutrients.

  4. E is for Elimination Naturopathic nutrition recognizes the importance of identifying and removing potential trigger foods. It is, therefore, essential to deal with these triggers to promote digestive health and manage underlying factors associated with well-being.
