Few tips to get our heart rate under control Introduction:- When we talk about heart rate, heart rate is the number of heartbeats per minute, heart rate is also known as pulse rate,  the normal resting heart rate for adults is mostly between 60 beats to 100 beats / minute. It is generally seen that the lower heart rate implies more efficient and perfect Heart function and also better cardiovascular fitness. It is very important to keep a proper check on your heart rate, healthy heart, proper diet, and a healthy weight as these are the most essential factors for healthy living. Keeping heart rate under check can help you to evaluate the risk of increasing heart diseases. If the changes in heart rate are not checked and treated, it may be associated with the increasing risk of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The heart rate of an individual is not fixed it keeps fluctuating depending on the type of activity performed by the individual, fast-moving activities, cardiovascular exercises, cycling,  Gyming are some of the most common exercises which require more amount of energy and effort which can cause the heart to beat faster.

Symptoms of Arrhythmias (irregular heart rate):- Arrhythmias are associated with many risk factors that can affect any individual's heart- some of the symptoms of irregular heart rate are- • Tiredness • Shortness of breath • Chest pain • Irregular heartbeats • Fatigue • Dizziness • Fainting • Anxiety • Sweating • Tachycardia • Bradycardia • Blurred vision

Causes of Changes in heart rate:- Some of the common causes that lead to a change in heart rate are:- • Exercise -  physical exercises are the main factor that leads to increased heart rate, the increase of the heart rate while exercising depend upon how intense the exercise was and also on the amount of strain the body takes during the exercise. • Hormonal changes - changes in hormones level can affect heart rate which can lead to tachycardia. Even fluctuating hormones can temporarily affect the heart rate. • Weather - changes in weather can lead to increased heart rate, humidity and high-temperature weather are more responsible for increasing heart rate. • Fear & pressure - any kind of stress to the body can lead to changes in heart rate. Other factors include:-

Any heart disease • History of heart attack • Past history of heart injury or changes like the reduced flow of blood • Wrong balance of electrolytes in the blood • Infection or fever • Use of drugs • Smoking and alcohol Complications with high heart rate:- When the heartbeat is faster than normal, it may affect the organs tissues and other cells of the body have it it won't provide enough blood to different parts of the body, some of the complications with higher heart rate are- • Formation of blood clots that can cause stroke or heart attack • Frequent unconsciousness • Inability of the heart to pump enough blood • Chest pain • low energy levels and weakness • Changes in blood pressure

  6. Tips to maintain proper heart rate:- • Exercise regularly- it's very important to exercises regularly to maintain proper heart rate, starting with a brisk walk, swimming, or bicycling. Exercising regularly can gradually slow down The resting heart rate. • Reduce caffeine and alcohol intake- try to reduce your caffeine intake especially coffee and alcohol as it can lead to sudden changes in heart rate.
