Begin long a • Math – Rounding numbers, even/odd, skip counting, problem solving. • Reading- No reading this week due to testing. (Stanford testing) • Writer’s Workshop – Oral Presentations and begin nouns • Science – Water Cycle, droughts, floods, storms • Handwriting – Upper and Lower Case Ll and Mm • Spelling – Unit six is a review unit. Spelling Words: brother brave great sweet play sing could like ground bring took break ask friend desk boxes nights girls boys camp Bonus Words: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Reminders: Don’t forget to practice math facts and read nightly. Great job Molly as our Star Student this week. Kyle is our star next week. Challenge – Challenge Spellers - because it is a review unit this week, there will be not challenge lists. If your child tests out of the list on Monday, they earn an A for their spelling this week and do not take the post test on Friday. There will be no practice sheet sent home for review units. No school on the 12th and 15th. I enjoyed conferencing with so many of you on Thursday. Thank you for all of your support. Have a great weekend!
