  25. Final Thoughts Write on back of Foldable • Economics are due to the climate and geography of an area. • a. The South developed plantations and continued to use slavery because of the long growing season and good soil of the South. • b. The Middle Colonies had less area to grow crops but many fast moving rivers to power industrial factories.
