The Need! • PRIC-Parent Resource and Information Center • To enlightening parents with the necessary skills to communicate with educators and assist students with homework • To provide a safe environment with modern technology • To provide workshops on parenting and substance abuse • To assist Northampton County Schools increase performance

  5. How • Roanoke Chapel Family Life Center • Collaboration with Northampton County Schools • Network with community leaders • At risk and disadvantaged families

  6. Results • Parents will have the needed skills to motivate children to excel in school • Parents will support and attend more extracurricular activities • Students become life learning citizens • Reduction on drug abuse and dropout rate • Increased tested scores.
