Cut both pieces of red cardstock into “frames” Orient paper so it measures 12 inches across Width of frame is approx. 1 ½ inches
Find Over the Rainbow and cut scalloped bird strip off and glue to bottom ¼ inch of red bazzill. Glue strip to bottom ¼ inch of red bazzill Now glue kraft paper (centered) onto red bazzill
FindOver the Rainbow Cut remaining Over the Rainbow paperinto 3 pieces, following the pattern. Do not cut straight across Make 2 cuts, Approximately 7 inches from the bottom 4 inches from the bottom
Take bottom piece of Over the Rainbow patternedpaper Cut it here, following the pattern Layer the pieces like this and glue them together. Then cut so the piece is 11 ½ inches wide
Take Biggest piece of Over the Rainbow And cut a strip (starting your measurement from the top) that measures 3 ¼ x 12 From that piece, Cut 5 rectangles that are 2 ¼ by 3 ¼ Doodle. Put aside.
Alphabet sheet Cut letters for “happiness is” and glue to red paper. Cut out and doodle. Tip: lightly glue letters to scrap sheet with temporary adhesive to make doodling easier. Put aside to dry. Doodle on arrow and journaling cloud on sticker sheet. Put aside to dry
Pot of Gold Cut off red flower scalloped edge. Hold scalloped strip with scallops facing up, straight-edge on bottom. Cut ½ inch off the right side so that your scalloped piece measures 11 ½ inches wide. Put it aside. Cut a strip 2 ½ by 11 ½ Cut a piece 7 ½ by 9 ¾. Put aside. For second layout
Assembling and Gluing 1 1. Glue 2 ½ strip of Pot of Gold paper (yellow) so that the top edge is appox4 ¼ inches from the bottom edge of the kraft paper 2. Glue red scalloped piece on top 3. Glue layered cloud paper on bottom 4. Cut top cloud paper so it measures 11 ½ inches wide. Glue top piece of cloud paper on top Put layout aside. 2 3 4
Find CrissCross Cut the rainbow scallop strip off of Criss Cross. Glue to bottom edge of red bazzill. Make sure paper measures 12 inches across Center and glue kraft paper onto red bazzill Cut a ¾ inch strip off of Criss Cross Glue to top edge of kraft paper. Cut red flower scallop from Dream Land paper. Glue onto bottom edge of Criss Cross strip. Put aside.
Find Dream Land Cut a strip 3 ¼ by 11 ½ from the top of Dream Land. Then cut a strip 5 ¼ by 12 from that top edge. Cut 4 rectangles from that piece measuring 5 ¼ by 2 ¼ . Doodle. Put aside. Cut along pattern on bottom of Dream Land paper and trim so it is 11 ½ wide. Put aside
Assemble and glue Glue 3 ¼ Dream Land strip about an inch from the red scallop border. Take yellow pot of gold piece cut earlier (7 ½ by 9 ¾) and glue about ¼ from red scallop strip, centered. Glue trimmed Dream Land piece to bottom edge of kraft paper
Doodle Put layouts side by side . Doodle. Without gluing, place all photo mats on the layouts.
Setting up the final layouts Cut the arrow and journaling cloud out of the sticker sheet, keeping the backing attached. Cut the arrow in half so it fits across both pages. Without exposing adhesive place arrow on layouts. Add “happiness is” and journaling cloud. I cut the bottom strip off of my cloud.
Like how it looks?Glue it down . I used pop dots to add dimension to the title and photo mats.Doodle some more.
Cards made with Scraps Hi card: Dimensions: 8 ½ by 5 ½ piece of Criss Cross pp scrap. Use the “hi” letters from alpha sheet. Use the journal sticker and 4 photo corners from sticker sheet. The “popped-up” pieces are cut from Over the rainbow pp scraps Best Wishes card: Dimensions: 8 by 5 ½ piece of Criss Cross pp scrap. Usebazzillred scraps. Use 3 stickers from sticker sheet. The “popped-up” pieces are cut out from Over the Rainbow pp scrap
