  2. Article 2 • Convention ratified except for Uganda. • There are some restriction in the implementation (eg In Mauritius the fire services, Police force and EPZ sectors are region of problem) under the IRA legislation. • Uganda : must recruit 51% to be recognised.

  3. Article 3 • There is no interference

  4. Article 4 • To be in line with the national labour laws. • Mauritius must be conformed with the ( Industrial Relation Act of 1973) • Labour laws are out-dated( Uganda)
