7. 7 035- Three levels of Customer Acceptance for NTR Transition:
Form # NASCOM-FOR-001-20060927 NASCOM Transition Readiness Form
Form # NASCOM-FOR-002-20060927 NASCOM Mission Operations Acceptance Form
Form # NASCOM-FOR-003-20060927 NASCOM Permission to Turndown NSAP Form
Forms will be faxed to a Primary and Alternate POC for each end of service
8. 8 035- Transition Approach:
Request that each site perform a Continuity Check on each NSAP service prior to transition to NTR.
Establish an NTR Prime and Alternate NASA Point-of-Contact (POCs) for each site
NNSG will issue Release Messages identifying NSAP services to be transitioned on a given date to the supporting sites.
Form # NASCOM-FOR-001-20060927 - NSAP services to transition will be fax to Prime and Alternate NASA POC at each end of service for signature before proceeding
Upon completion of Operational Testing Form # NASCOM-FOR-002-20060927 NTR Acceptance Form will be faxed to Prime and Alternate POC at each end of service for signature.
NNSG will issue Communications Service Advisory Message (CSAM) identifying NTR services accepted for operational use to the supporting sites.
Form # NASCOM-FOR-003-20060927 - NSAP Disconnect Acceptance Form will be faxed to each end of service for signature before a disconnect order is issued.
NISN NSR will be issued for disconnect.
Disconnect Order issued to Carrier
NNSG will issue a Preliminary Service Advisory Message (PSAM) identifying NSAP circuits being disconnected issued to the supporting sites.
Shuttle and JSC transition activities will stop at TCDT date for upcoming Missions.
9. 9 035- NISN/NASCOM Transition Support:
Dedicated Mission COMMGR on console for transition activities.
Dedicated IPNOC Engineer and CD Manager for Testing and Transition of IONET services.
Dedicated TCS Supervisor for all Testing and Transition activities
Dedicated Voice Loop for the transition team
Landline 301-474-6984 will be dedicated for NTR transition support
List of NSAP Services being transitioned will be on console with failback times for each identified.
Post Transition:
CAUTION Service Level Identifiers are the same under NTR as they are under NSAP. When reporting problems to the COMMGR the user needs to identify if the trouble is on the NSAP network or the NTR network.
An MCM makes the determination to fail-back
