Workshop Purpose • To provide a brief overview of the IAQG OPMT activities and to give attendees an opportunity to ask questions of the strategy stream members. • Attendees can provide input and ask questions of IAQG OPMT leaders on strategy initiatives covering the Industry Controlled Other Party (ICOP) 9100 series accreditation, certification, auditor authentication and oversight processes.
What is ICOP? Industry Controlled: - implies that the Aerospace Industry will be self-policing this process. - the control is given to membership of the IAQG, comprised of the AAQG, EAQG and APAQG, which is restricted to Aerospace OEMs and 1st Tier (major airframe/engine) suppliers. Other Party: - implies something other than 2nd party auditing by OEMs and something other than the 3rd party auditing by ISO certification bodies & auditors - implies the combination of 2nd & 3rd party audits controlled by the Aerospace Industry IAW AS9104 ICOP is the globally harmonized Quality Management System defined by the IAQG (AS/EN/SJAC 9104)

IAQG OPMT Composition of the IAQG OPMT: • Each IAQG Global Sector appoints 3 representatives with voting rights (that are part of the SMS) to the IAQG OPMT • Our meetings are scheduled in connection with the regularly scheduled IAQG meetings. • The meetings are open for general topics and closed for oversight activities or other industry specific topics. • Representatives from the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) International Association of Accredited Registrars (IAAR) and regulatory authorities may participate in these meetings as observers.

IAQG OPMT Responsibility & Structure • Responsibility of the IAQG OPMT: • Review of the operation of each of the sector schemes. • Periodic review of the lessons learned by each of the Sectors and a review of any proposed changes to the Sector schemes. • Development and maintenance of sector scheme standards (9104 Series). • Ensure that the IAQG-OASIS database operates effectively and is accessible to the IAQG members. • Provide a summary report to the full IAQG on the periodic reviews of each of the Sectors schemes. • Monitor feedback from IAQG members, registrars, and suppliers.
Sector Management Structure (SMS) The organization established in each global sector that manages the application of the sector scheme based on the AS/EN/SJAC 9104 standard. The SMS responsibilities include: SMS Operating Procedures and Processes Review of Accreditation Bodies, Certification Bodies, Aerospace Auditors and Aerospace Competency Training Course Providers Oversight
