TGs’ Organisation and Tasks Each TG will: • be composed of a representative from the participant Customs Administrations; • work in English Language; • appoint a Coordinator and benefit of the support of one facilitator from the Italian Customs Agency; • Design, plan and implement cooperation activities; • prepare reports with recommendations to be submitted to the HL Forum for endorsement; • meet at least three times per year, on dates and at locations agreed by the participants. Working Methododology (4)Recommendations and Best Practices First Coordination Meeting of the Technical Groups Rome, 17 December 2010 Final outputs: Prepare Reports which should contain: • General assessment for each Participating Country; • Strong Points and Best Practices in current procedures of the participating Countries; • Recommendations to be approved by the FORUM;
Technical Groups on-line Forum First Coordination Meeting of the Technical Groups Rome, 17 December 2010 • Tool which facilitate TGs’ tasks; • Each TG will have its own section in a secured web portal; • Main features: • Sharing of documents; • Discussion boards – on-line communication Forum; • Tracking of the Logframe and Gannt Chart ; • Development and Maintenance will be provided in sinergy with SEED project
Main Tasks of the TGs’ Coordinators (1) First Coordination Meeting of the Technical Groups Rome, 17 December 2010 Related to the periodic TG’s coordination meetings and High Level Forum: • Guiding the discussions within the separate Group sessions; • Drawing the conclusions of the Group sessions; • Reporting findings/conclusions/recommendations to the plenary meetings; • Report to the HL Forum on the TG’s activities.
Main Tasks of the TGs’ Coordinators (3) First Coordination Meeting of the Technical Groups Rome, 17 December 2010 Related to the activities: • Collecting ideas and contributions circulated in the forum of the Venice Cooperation Initiative Web Portal; • Translate these ideas/contributions into further topics of discussions in the web forum as well as in planned coordination meetings; • Guiding the Group in identifying content, objectives and methodologies of the activities to be implemented;
Main Tasks of the TGs’ Coordinators (4) First Coordination Meeting of the Technical Groups Rome, 17 December 2010 Related to the activities: • Stimulating the sharing of experience among the participants during the activities; • Drawing conclusions and making recommendations as results of the activities.
