  2. What is ParentVUE? • ParentVUE is your child's online Grade Book. • ParentVUE replaces the Parent Information Management System (PIMS) • ParentVue is a communication tool. • ParentVue is a secure internet site, allowing you access to information about your children only.

  4. HOW ARE ELEMENTARY STUDENTS GRADED? • Standards (description of knowledge or skills for each grade level) • Assignments are linked to standards • Grades are assigned to the standards, not the assignment • All calculated scores for a standard=current level proficiency for that standard

  6. Grading Legend X = Student is exempt from an assignment and the assignment will not be included in any grade calculation Z = Student has NOT completed the assignment and the assignment will be calculated as a zero if not turned in. T = The assignment has been turned in, but not yet graded
